Changing a child's name to Sarim Ahmad

Can a child's name be changed from the one which is kept during the time of his or her birth after azaan and iqama recitation? How is the name Sarim Ahmed for a baby boy, can you please tell me the meaning?
Answer
Yes, if they find it suitable to change it.
If it is with the letter saad it refers to a desolate spot, an area that has been wiped out.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
