Janaazah for a transgender
Question
My question is related to transgender’s or gender change’s personal funeral. I want to know whether their janaza will be perform or not? Should we perform it as a male or a female or lunatic or is there a different way?
Answer
Such people are under divine curse all the time. If they consider this to be permissible then they are not Muslims and janaazah namaaz will not be performed for them.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
