Taking a contraceptive pill to stop acne
Question
Is it permissible for me to take the contraceptive pill for a short term period (6 months) only, for the use of fixing my acne issues. My intention is just to take it to fix my medical problem (acne). I have tried every other form of medication to help with my acne and nothing seems to work. This is my last resort.
Answer
Yes, it is permissible provided it does not terminate the foetus after development and your husband approves of it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
