Law forbids halal slaugher of animals
Question
In my home country the law forbids halal slaugher of animals. Is it permissable for the Muslims to halal slaughter animals secretly in these two scenarios:
If imported halal meat is available on the market
If no halal meat at all is available on the market
Answer
If you are quite sure that the meat imported is halaal and acquired from halaal sources, then it is permissible for you to consume that meat. However in both cases it is permissible for you according to Shari'ah to slaughter. You should adopt such means whereby you will be saved from legal implications.
