والخاصِرَةُ: الشاكِلَةُ، وما بينَ الحَرْقَفَةِ والقُصَيْرَى
From qamoos, 2 seems correct.
Answer
Hips and waist are about one and the same thing.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
