Giving azaan to a baby whose mother is married to an atheist
Question
I was asked by a female Muslim friend who is married to a Christian/Atheist, to give Azaan for their baby they expecting. Please can I get some guidance on the Islamic aspects of this?
Is the baby Muslim?
Do I have any obligations towards the baby etc?
Answer
1. Their nikaah is invalid. Hence they are living in haraam and zina.
2. Muslim.
3. No.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
