Question

Is it permissible for a woman to wear a cloak that ties above the waist, STRICTLY in front of Muslim women?

Here is an explanation: A belt that ties above the waist will make the cloak a bit tighter towards the top part of the body, it will not be loose fitting on the upper part of the body. However, the lower part and the navel to knees will be covered without showing the shape of the body. This will be strictly in front of Muslim women (e.g. a function). Basically will she be exposing her satr (her satr in front of Muslim women) in this situation?

Answer

Yes, provided her body is not revealed in any way in the presence of strangers.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
