Spending on one's family on the day of Aashura
Question
Which meal should a person spend on his family or layout on the dastarkhaan for ashura? Saturday evening or Sunday?
Answer
The virtue mentioned in the Hadith is for the 10th of Muharram (i.e the day of Aashura). Hence, the virtue is for feeding one's family on Sunday after completing the fast.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
