Punishment for committing zina with a minor
Question
What is the punishment in Islam for a married man who has committed zina with a prepubescent girl younger than nine years of age?
Answer
Where there is a shar`ee court they will decide using their discretion as to what type of punishment should be meted out. They have the right to employ their discretion in choosing the type of punishment.
