Making ghusal when one has a wound
Question
I recently got breast abscess and the doctor advised me to take a shower down from the breast. I want to ask that if I need to take a compulsory bath like after periods or intercourse, how do I perform ghusal since we have to clean the full body including head. Please guide me.
Answer
Wash your entire body besides the area affected with the abscess. If the doctor allows you to make masah on that area, then you should make masah. If the doctor says that making masah will also be harmful, then that area will fall off from the law of ghusal. The ghusal will be complete despite not washing that area nor making masah on it.
