Fasting for the ijtimaa
Question
It is said that we ladies should fast before and on the days of the Ijtima. Is this true? And should the men as well?
Answer
This is not specific for men or women for the ijtima. You may fast whenever you want and on whichever days you want. Yes, what is requested is sincere du`aas for the success of the ijtima.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
