Dress & AttireClothing for MenClothing for Womenclothingmenwomen

Question

Why are women said to wear burkha but men aren't. And how should a Muslim man dress? And like if I like a sweat shirt am I allowed to wear because the sweat shirt(not body tight) can look good and still attract the opposite gender. So is that permissible in Islam, to wear nice clothing?

Answer

This is a command of Allah Ta`ala.

Loose simple clothing, at least the upper garment should be till the knees and the trousers should be above the ankles. A Muslim male's attire comes with a topee and ensure that the topee is also worn when leaving the house.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
