Is sexual relations necessary for halaala to be valid?
Question
In halaala, is intercourse a must to do or just nikaah and privacy without intercourse will do? My in-laws forced me for triple talaaq using their power and threats, otherwise me and my wife love each other dearly.
Answer
Consummating the nikah is necessary for halaala to be valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
