Celebrating a hifz khatam
Question
What is the best way to celebrate the khatam of Hifdhul Quraan? Should it be a big affair or must it be kept to the minimum? Is it virtous to be feeding the guests in honour of the occassion?
Answer
This is not supposed to be a celebration nor should anybody encourage any type of formalities with the khatam. If someone wishes to feed he may feed without making it an elaborate affair.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
