Eating squid, octopus and mussels
Question
I was aware that seafood is halaal. Keeping that in mind, I ate squid, octopus and mussels. When I researched later, I found out it is not halaal. Could you please confirm whether it was halaal or not? If it is not, how can I repent? This action was done unintentionally.
Answer
According to the Hanafi Mazhab from the sea creatures, only fish are permissible.
Make istighfaar and in future be more cautious.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
