Giving used jewellery to one's future wife
Question
One of my relatives is buying second hand jewellery which has been used by his sister. He wants to give the jewellery to his future wife when they get married without telling her that it is not new jewellery. Is this acceptable in Islam?
Answer
It is permissible.
