Which animal was with the Ashaab-e-kahf in the cave?
Question
Kindly let me know if any Muffasir of the Quran mentioned that it was a Lion (and not a dog) that was present with the Ashaab-e-Kahf in Surah Kahf of the Quran.
Answer
The report of the animal of Ashaab-e-kahf being a lion is not accepted by the mufassireen. This opinion has been rejected by the mufassireen.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
