Reciting Quraanic ayaats with the intention of Dua in the state of haidh
Question
Is it permissible to recite Quranic ayaats as dua's in the state of haidh? For example reciting last verses of Surah Baqarah, Surah Al Imraan, Mu'awwazatein and Ayatal kursi before sleeping.
Answer
Yes, it is permissible provided it is not done with the niyyat of tilaawat, but rather with the niyyat of duaa and istiaaza (seeking protection)
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
