Listening to one's parents with regards to marriage
Question
I just wanted to know if a girl is pious, has good character and is from a good home, but she is not from the same caste (surti and non surti), is it a good enough reason for my parents to not allow me to marry her?
Answer
To avoid confusion, trouble, and fights we will advise that you obey your parents.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
