Tying the hair into a bun
Question
Can a woman tie her hair into a bun or tie her hair as a bun on top of her head?
Answer
It is permissible, however she should not tie her bun on top of her head. Rather, she should tie it at the back.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس ونساء كاسيات عاريات مميلات مائلات رؤوسهن كأسنمة البخت المائلة لا يدخلن الجنة ولا يجدن ريحها وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة كذا وكذا. (صحيح مسلم 2/383)
