Quraan competitions
Question
I would like to know what is the ruling on Quran competitions?
Answer
The hadeeth allows competitions in racing and in archery provided there isn't the element of gambling. These types of competitions have not been proved.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
