Question
Mr Zaid has only one daughter, one spouse and 2 brothers. After the death of Zaid, how will Zaid's estate be distributed?
Answer
The estate will be divided into 16 equal shares and distributed as follows:
Wife will receive 2 shares
Daughter will receive 8 shares
Each brother will receive 3 shares
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
