Question

I dont understand - you say that a female should go to a female doctor, yet you firmly discourage especially females to study - isnt this double standards? Please explain.

Answer

If you wish to understand then you have women that are practising from their homes with all pardah requirements. You also have non-Muslim women physicians. What stops you from going to them? They are not obligated by the shar`ee laws.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Ask Mufti Online

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
