Keeping the name Binyameen
Question
I have a few questions regarding keeping the the name Binyameen:
1. Was Binyameen (Alayhis Salaam) given prophethood?
2. Is it wrong to keep the name Binyameen for my child because a lot of non-Muslims keep that name and it is the name of the Israeli's leader?
3. What is the meaning of Binyameen?
Answer
1. We have not come across this in any reliable kitaab.
2. It is permissible.
3. We do not know.
