Basic Hanafi fiqh books in English
Question
What is the best basic hanafi fiqh book with basic masa'il? I bought Nur al Idah and Maraqy ul Falah but was told that they are for people who are actually going into fiqh but they may not be the best for basic beginners. I had Taleemul Haq but it has many masa'il in the non ijma view and some are wrong.
Answer
Taleemul Haq is quite good. The English translation of Bahishti Zewar is also very good.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
