Reciting behind the Imaam
Question
My question is that we read the Alhamdu shareef in our namaz. When we read namaz in jamaat then do we need to read the Alhamudu shareef or not?
Answer
Behind the Imaam one should not recite anything (Neither Alhamdu nor a Surah). Instead one should remain silent.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
