Kaffaarah for breaking an oath
Question
One day I had a fight with my wife regarding some sexual issues and unfortunately I told her "It is haram for me to have sex with you". I love my wife so much. Is there any kaffara for me?
Answer
You will have to give the kaffarah for breaking an oath when you go to your wife. The kaffarah for breaking an oath is feeding 10 poor people 2 meals each or clothing each one of them or giving the equivalent of sadaqatul fitr to each one.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
