Inheritance of government land
Question
My father had 24 acres of govt. land (horse growing scheme). We are 3 brothers and 6 sisters. My father died and the govt. land was given to my older brother as a govt. policy. Is this correct distribution according to Islam? If no, then what is the correct way of distribution?
Answer
If this land belongs to the government then it is the right of the government to give it to the person of their choice.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
