Question

I often import goods from other countries. In some cases, the government charges me exorbitant amounts as import duties. Can I pay these import duties with interest money?

Answer

Some Ulamaa have allowed the use of interest for paying taxes that are Islamically unjustifiable. Hence, it is permissible for you to pay for these import duties with interest money.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
