Performing the sunnats of fajr when making qadha of fajr
Question
What rakats will I pray as a qadha if my fajar namaz was qadha. Will I offer the sunah as well? If so, is it sinful to not pray the sunnah rakat while offering qadha of fajr. What will be the best time to offer fajr qadha?
Answer
If one has missed the Fajar Salaah and makes qadha before zawaal of the same day, then he should perform the Sunnat as well as the fardh of Fajar. If he makes qadha after zawaal of the same day or later, he should only perform the fardh of Fajar.
