Giving a needy heir more than his share of the inheritance
Question
I want to know that after a fathers death, if the eldest son gets a job in the fathers place and gets well settled. He owns a property and earns a good salary but the younger son got nothing after his fathers death. Should the younger son be given some extra property or not?
Answer
It is not his compulsory duty. However, to be kind towards siblings is an act of great virtue.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
