Is the Prophet Idris Alaihis-salam alive?
Question
I came to know from a local Aalim that the Prophet Idris Alaihis-salam is still alive. Is it true or a false preaching? Please, give proper references from Holy Qur'an and Authentic Ahadiths.
Answer
There is no conclusive report with regards to this statement. The only conclusive report is about Isa (alaihis salaam) that he is alive in the heavens.
