Replying to the salaam of a non-Muslim
Question
If a non-Muslim says Assalam u alAikum, how should we answer?
Answer
Do not reply to his salaam in the manner one replies to a Muslim. However you may reply by saying Wa Alayka.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
