Calling oneself a Deobandi
Question
I follow the Ulama of Deoband but I wanted to know whether it is allowed to label oneself as a 'Deobandi' because I feel like these terms and labels cause unnecessary division in the Ummah.
Answer
You do not need to label yourself. The more important thing is to follow the school of thought.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
