Pouring water on the graves
Question
Is it a sunnah to pour water over the graves when visiting or is it something of a tradition. Also, if it is sunnah, should it be done everytime or would it be better to do it seldomly since the graveyards are looked after with public money.
Answer
It is not a Sunnah to pour water on the grave when one visits the grave.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
