Putting flowers in the brides hair?
Question
Could you please let me know before marriage, from the grooms side people go to the brides side and put flowers to brides hair, it is permissible in Islam? I strictly told to my parents it is not permissible in Islam, my parents also accepted. Could you please advise me whether what I did was correct.
Answer
The putting of flowers is not a sunnat practice. It should be discarded.
