Getting a job with a fake certificate
Question
I have obtained my degree through distance mode (although distance mode is not allowed by university, it is illegal). I have done it after consultation with college authority. Now if I get a job with this certificate, would my income be halal or haram?
Answer
If the job you are employed for is permissible and you are capable of fulfilling the work which is assigned to you, then your earnings are halaal.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
