Getting a girl married when she gets her first haidh
Question
I want to know if is a myth or real in Islam that a when a girl has her first period she should get married as soon as possible.
Answer
It is not true. There is no mention of her getting her first period. However, it is encouraged that they get into marriage and save themselves from all types of indecent activity from the very beginning.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
