Salaah while travelling in the state of istihaazah
Question
If a woman gets her period after 11 days and she is traveling, does she have to read Salaah?
Answer
If the bleeding continues for over ten days, she will revert to her previous haiz pattern and regard the extra bleeding to be istihaazah. In the state of istihaazah a woman will be regarded paak and she will perform salaah. If she travels, she will be considered a musaafir and the laws of a musaafir will apply to her.
