Crying out of love for Allah
Question
If you get tears when you think positively about Allah or you get tears out love for Allah, is that good thing or sign of iman? I know people get tears when they fear Allah, what about when you get tears when you love Allah?
Answer
It is a good thing. It is a sign of mahabbat for Allah Ta`ala. Love for Allah is a very high level of imaan.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
