Performing istikhaarah for someone

I would like to know if someone performs istikhaara on my behalf without my permission, is the response to that istikhaara valid?
Answer
Istikhaarah is a special type of dua made to Allah Ta’ala. Just as you can make dua for yourself, others can make dua for you.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
