Question

Is it correct for a person to take a loan to go for his fardh hajj?

Answer

If one does not have sufficient wealth to go for hajj, then hajj is not compulsory upon him. Hence, it is not compulsory upon him to take a loan to go for hajj.

However, taking a loan to go for hajj will be permissible if one is confident that he will be able to easily pay back the loan without falling into difficulty.

If he is not confident of being able to easily repay the loan then he should not take the loan to go for hajj.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
