Assisting one's brother financially
Question
My elder brother is very ill, but my wife says don't give him money because he did not help us when we needed it. I am very upset with this matter. Please tell me that if I send some money to him without telling my wife, is this right according to Islam?
Answer
You should help him. That is your duty. To avoid trouble don't inform your wife.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
