Giving someone zakaat money to go for umrah
Question
Can we pay zakaat to a family member (wanting to go on Umrah, but does not have the means) with the intention of using it for Umrah?
Answer
If he is poor and eligible to accept zakaat, you may give him.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
