Question

If one is in ihraam and breaks one of the rules of ihraam which will require correcting the action by slaughtering a sheep (damm) - does the sheep have to be slaughtered in Makkah, or can it be done when you get home to your country of residence?

Answer

It should be done in the Haram.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Ask Mufti Online

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
