Discharging Sadaqatul Fitr

1. Is fitra obligatory?
2. Can we pay fitra in advance?
3. What is the time to give fitra, before eid prayer or after eid prayer?
4. Do we have to pay fitra for a guest as well?
Answer
1. If you are referring to the fitr of Eid then it is obligatory on the person who has the wealth of nisaab.
2. Yes.
3. Both are permissible.
4. No.
