Washing impure water splashes from one's body
Question
When one deficates, impure water splashes from the toilet on one's body, and towards the back area, so I pour water from the front and hope it reaches all the impure areas but I don't think it does.
Are these splashes excused or are they impure and need to be washed. If they are impure then what is the correct way of istinja (with water) after deficating?
Answer
Wash the entire area where the splashes had come on.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

وتطهير النجاسة التي يجب غسلها على وجهين فما كان له منها مرئية زوال عينها إلا أن يبقى من أثرها ما يشق إزالته وما ليس له عين مرئية فطهارتها أن يغسل حتى يغلب على ظن الغاسل أنه قد طهر (مختصر القدوري صـ 21)
(وصفة الاستنجاء) بالماء أن يستنجي بيده اليسرى بعدما استرخى كل الاسترخاء إذا لم يكن صائما ويصعد أصبعه الوسطى على سائر الأصابع قليلا في ابتداء الاستنجاء ويغسل موضعها ثم يصعد بنصره ويغسل موضعها ثم يصعد خنصره ثم سبابته فيغسل حتى يطمئن قلبه أنه قد طهر بيقين أو غلبه ظن ويبالغ فيه إلا أن يكون صائما ولا يقدر بالعدد إلا أن يكون موسوسا فيقدر في حقه بالثلاث كذا في التبيين (الفتاوى الهندية 1/49)
