Keeping the name Muhammad
Question
My cousin has a baby boy. She would like to keep the name Muhammad. Is it permissible to name a baby Muhammad without a name after that? If so, please can you let me know what name would be suitable to have after the name Muhammad?
Answer
From all Islamic names, Muhammed is the best name. Only keeping the name Muhammad (without another name) is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
