Keeping table tennis and pool tables in the masaajid
Question
Our Masaajid here in the UK tend to have a table tennis table or pool table at the rear of the masjid to attract the youth to come to the masaajid or organise a trainee to train them to boxing etc. Would that be permissible or would it be considered لهو ولعب ?? Jzk
Answer
It is very inappropriate that these types of activities take place around the precincts of the musjid. Table tennis etc. obviously is lahw.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
