Question

Is it permissible for a woman to cover her own hair in front of non mahram men by wearing a wig. If no then why?

Answer

A wig is not a substitute for a purdah or jilbaab, etc. It has got the same attraction, in fact more.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
